EFRAIN F. ESQUIVEL's Obituary
Efrain F. Esquivel passed away at Kendall Regional Medical Center on Sunday, October 22nd at the age of 64,
after several years of battling end stage liver and kidney disease.
Efrain is predeceased by his father Ernesto Esquivel, his mother Marcia Esquivel and sister Daphne Conlon.
Efrain is survived by his loving wife, Donna of 41 years. They were married in Miami, FL on April 24th, 1976.
Efrain is lovingly remembered by his children, Crystal Craddock, Heather Esquivel and Dayn Esquivel; brothers Humberto Esquivel, Oscar Esquivel and Herman Esquivel; sisters Brenda Rummel and Linda Shepherd; grandchildren Ivan Franquiz, Christopher Franquiz and Brianna Ealey; and great grandson Salvatore Rapisarda; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Efrain was born in Belize City, Belize, on June 22nd, 1953. He moved to Miami, FL at the age of 10 and graduated from Southwest Miami High School in 1972. He worked in hardware sales and management.
Efrain was a fan of a variety of sports teams and loved to cook for his family and friends. He spent his final months reconnecting to his faith and spending time in the loving embrace of his loved ones. He was considered by many to be the most kind-hearted person they ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, and loyal friend.
The visitation will be held at Van Orsdel Chapel, 11220 N Kendall Drive on Wednesday, October 25th from 5-6pm for family, 6-11pm for all others who wish to pay their respects. Prayers and memorials will be offered at
8pm.
A Catholic funeral mass will be held at St. John Neumann on Thursday, October 26th at 11:00 am. Cremation will
follow in the coming week. A reception will take place for family members at a family home in Kendall.
