In Loving Memory of Edward Owais
With hearts full of sorrow, yet grounded in faith, we celebrate the life of Edward Owais, who was called into the arms of his Heavenly Father on June 16, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Nazareth, Israel on May 29th, 1955, Edward found great joy in music, especially playing the Oud. He loved family gatherings and playing with his grandchildren. He lived each day with kindness, humility, and a fervent love for his family. His smile and gentle spirit were a source of light and comfort to all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Amal Owais; his loving daughter Kristin Owais-Hernandez and son-in-law Gilbert Hernandez; and his precious grandchildren Ellius, Elyssa, and Elijah Hernandez. He is also survived by his siblings Nabil Owais, Hala Owais, and Hani Owais, along with many extended family members and dear friends who loved him deeply. Though our hearts ache, we find peace in knowing that Edward is now resting in the eternal presence with the Lord, free from pain and embraced by everlasting peace. His legacy of love and faith will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched. A mercy meal will be served at the church following the burial as family and friends gather to honor and remember Edward’s blessed life.
