EDNA MAE PRUITT's Obituary
PRUITT
Edna M. passed away in Coral Gables, FL, on February 15, 2013. She was born on August 17, 1922 in Valdosta, GA but grew up and attended school in West Palm Beach, FL. After marrying her late husband, William D. Pruitt, Sr. in 1938, she joined him and her immediate family in Miami, FL and after the end of WWII, joined Eastern Airlines where she remained until retirement in 1980. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Thompson, her children and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. William D. Pruitt, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. William McGraw and grandchildren William McGraw, Sharron M. Vogelhuber, Thomas W. Pruitt and Ryan W. Pruitt and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A private service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL, 4600 S.W. 8 Street. For those wishing, in memoriam donations may be made to the scholarship fund in memory of William D. Pruitt, University of Miami School of Business.
