EDNA DIXON HICKS's Obituary
HICKS, Dixon Edna passed away peacefully on 10-14-2014. Born on Dec. 4, 1923 in Jacksonville, FL. Edna was known for her great Sunday dinners, fried chicken and coconut cakes. She was married to Earl E. Dixon for 39 years and re-married to Julius Hicks for 31 years. She is survived by Bonnie (Bill) Massie, Doris Earlene Dixon, four grandchildren, William Massie Jr., Earl Emmit Massie, Morgan Fae Alonso and Heather Este Alonso, and four great-grandchildren, Amanda, Sophia, Joseph and Anthony. A Service will be held on Saturday, 10-18-14, 10:00 am – 11:30 am at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel with a burial to follow at Miami Memorial Park, Miami, FL.
