Edmundo Quintana's Obituary
46, a kind, generous, and Godly man, entered into the arms of Jesus, his Savior, on Thursday, July 2, 2009. He was a loving husband to Elizabeth and a proud father to Sara. Edmundo was a self-made man who always carried a positive attitude and gave his best to every endeavor. His energy and strong work ethic enabled him to work for over 20 years in the antique furniture business and to realize his dream of opening City Barbeque Place in North Miami Beach. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth, their loving daughter, Sara, and their extended family. He adored his family and loved to play and joke with his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by son, Edmundo Jr. and family, of Springfield, Mass., his father, Angel Quintana, his mother, Mercedes Colon, six siblings: Carmen, Angel, Mercedes, Yolanda, Patricia, and Frank, and their extended families. He was a compassionate and faithful friend who never failed to extend a helping hand to those in need. Edmundo received the Holy Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Edmundo Quintana to: The Cushman School, 592 N.E. 60th St., Miami, FL 33137.
