Edlyn Clover Nicholson's Obituary
Edlyn Clover Ramsay Nicholson, fondly called Lyn, was born in Jamaica WI Ocho Rios, on June 15, 1928. In 1949 she married a childhood friend, Vincent Nicholson. To that union was born three children. Lyn and Vin were married for 60 years, until he closed his eyes in death in 2010.
After marriage, Lyn moved to New York City where she continued her education in Nursing. She was privileged to work in that field until her retirement.
In 1976, Lyn and Vin moved to Miami, Florida where they were active members of the Miami Temple SDA Church and also in the community.
After a brief illness, Lyn died on July 22, 2019. St. She leaves to mourn her children: Clover (Paul), Harvey (Reina) and Danette; Grandchildren: Tiffany, Sheldon (Yaisa), April (Joel) , Shawn (Ayanna), Shane (Domonique), Franklin, and Shea, who preceded her in death; Great-grandchildren: Mia-Jolie, Julius, Parker, Mason, Aria, Joshua and Persephone. She also leaves to mourn her brother Astley, (Gertrude), her sister Doreen, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. All of whom eagerly await the promised resurrection and the glorious reunion with their Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
