DORIS STEINBERG's Obituary
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Doris, our loving aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched on June 19, 2021. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Miami, Florida. She was in her 99th year.
Born in Damascus, Syria, she witnessed the incredible journey to immigrate to Cuba with her parents and siblings at the age of 4. Her passion for music and singing took her to New York in the early fifties and there she met and married Uncle Bob in 1947.
She was the beloved aunt to Hector, Tery, Jorge, Rafael, Pepe, Chiqui, Darlene and Michael. Predeceased by her devoted and loving husband Bernard Steinberg and siblings, Elias, Jorge, Miguel, Gloria, Jose and Amelia,
She loved life and lived every moment of it. An excellent business woman who found success in all endeavors. She always told you the truth, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Her extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime.
Most of all she loved her family. She will be missed and forever in our hearts.
