People come and go in our lives. Some pass by and continue their journey, and some stay close to us and in our hearts. Donald Andersen was a great friend and one that will continue to live in my heart.
I was lucky to be his friend and to spend time working in the same building in another business.
Every morning I would come in and see him catching up on the daily news events, and reading the Wall Street Journal. He was always the first at work. In those days he didn't have a long commute- he just happened to live upstairs above the business! It was a good thing the city didn't know! He hosted some memorable parties in this clandestine apartment.
I was pretty impressed to find out that Donald was the one running the export medical business to the Caribbean Islands. I remember seeing him in action with all the powerful contacts running these governments. There’s no doubt Donald was a good businessperson.
Years later when we spoke, Donald sounded very excited and happy, more than I had ever noticed before. Of course, this was when Rosie came into his life. Rosie has been his everything through all of this. Rosie, thanks for being there until the end for our dear friend.

Donald will be missed by all of us that were lucky enough to be his friend!
