Dolores Maria Donaldson passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, in Miami Florida.
Born on August 9, 1930, in Santiago de Cuba, Dolores lived a life filled with love and generosity.
She spent her early years in Jamaica before marrying Raymond Donaldson and building a life together. The couple eventually settled in New York State, where Dolores balanced her career with raising her family. In her later years, she retired to Florida, enjoying her time with family and friends between Ocala and Miami.
Dolores was a devoted mother to her daughter Karen Donaldson and son George Donaldson and grandmother to George and Abigail Donaldson. She was also beloved aunt to many. Known for her compassion and deep love for animals, Dolores touched the lives of all who knew her wit her warmth and kindness.
Her family will deeply miss her presence but will forever hold dear the memories of her caring sprit and unwavering love.
May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
