My heart broke when I learned you were gone... I always thought I'd have more time. I thought that when I finally got to see you again, I'd be the best version of myself. The only reason I ever stayed away was because I wanted to be more than I was when we first met. I still remember the first time we met, your face, your expression.
I don't have many regrets, and I feel lucky because of it. However, the only regret I do have was leaving the last night I saw you. Everyday the thought that I should have stayed crosses my mind. And even though our time together was short, even though we barely knew each other... I love only you.
