Stefan And Nancy Nagel
Dear Tess and Family: The news of David's passing has deeply and profoundly affected many, because in his life he touched many with his strength, positivity, and kind presence. His legacy survives in profound, diverse ways, both tangible and intangible. As he once remarked during our shared time at the National Trust, what is important is to leave the world a better place. This David did many times over, for which the world is grateful. While it may have lost one of its champions, the world has gained the fruits of David's loving efforts.
At a professional level, I will always remember David's ability to assemble and organize information to be used to develop approaches to the viable resolution of vexing issues. This was always done in a collaborative manner. At a personal level, it was a pleasure to tap into his love of the arts and the outdoors. He had a particular passion for skiing, including a vacation cottage at New Mexico's Taos Ski Valley, which he made available for our use on a couple of occasions. Thank you David!
David will be sincerely missed. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolence, Stefan and Nancy Nagel (Winchester, MA)
