David J Didona's Obituary
Didona, David J. of Miami was born in Cleveland, Ohio, September 20, 1947, and died February 1, 2012, after a valiant battle against cancer. He is a graduate of Miami Senior High School, a highly decorated Marine who served in Viet Nam, Business Agent of AFL/CIO local 725 for 10 years and member for 40 years, Worshipful Master of Nor Mi Lodge 253 (1994) and Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason. He taught pipefitting classes for 14 years, attended Perdue University obtaining a degree in Industrial Arts. David was a Chief Mechanical Inspector for the City of Sunny Isles Beach at the time of his death. His Death is grieved by his family, his wife, of 46 years, Barbara (McCracken) Didona, his 2 sons Michael (wife, Stephanie) Didona and Joseph (wife, Kim) Didona, grandchildren, Lauren, Nicole, David, Anthony, and Christopher. Sisters, Mary Jean, (Robert) Richardson, and Catherine Sell of Miami, Joann, (David) Williams of Rome, GA. Sister in law, Mary (Charlie) Patricoff of Denver, CO. Many nieces and nephews, their families and their children. Visitation from 6 to 10PM Friday February 3, 2012. Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. Mass of Resurrection at St. Agatha Catholic Church 10 AM Saturday February 4, 2012. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to Camillus House and The American Cancer Society.
