My friend, too many years have passed by since last I saw you. I always intended to reconnect with you, but unfortunately life kept getting in the way. Recently I learned that you had passed away and this news has left me shocked. Last week I went by to check on and visit your mom. I was glad to see she is well. We talked about you and the good times we had growing up together. We were able to share some smiles while struggling to hold back the tears. I am comforted in knowing that you were able to find love with a wife and child to share it with, along with your brother, sister and mom who I know you loved dearly. I went by Our Lady of Mercy today to find you, pray with you and look for solace. I miss you. Until we meet again my friend.
