Daniel James Sickles' Obituary
Dan was born in Muskegon, Michigan until he came to Florida to attend University of Florida. He received BS in Accounting from UF and later attended Michigan State University for BS in Environmental Geology and change careers. At UF he met as he would say “the love of his life” and married Judy Van Orsdel. They were together for 42 years. They have 4 wonderful children. He loved them so much and they kept him going after his medical issues began. He put God and family first always.
He enjoyed athletics, playing his guitars, fishing, and golf. He was friendly to everyone and treated everyone as he would like to be treated. Anyone who met him would understand this. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother. He is in heaven and will be missed.
