DAN PILKINGTON's Obituary
Dan loved to have his family all together having a good time playing cards and dancing. He loved to tell jokes and tease us. He loved his family and his faith. Sundays was his day to cook breakfast and boy was it good! Hunting and fishing was his next love. Hunting was the one thing he looked forward to twice a year up in South Carolina with his only son, Danny.
He provided for his family by hunting and fishing. His work at BellSouth allowed him to bring fresh vegetables to all of us.
We believe that Dad missed his calling as a meteorologist. He watched the weather and knew when the next hurricane would hit.
Mom was the love of his life. He adored her from the first time he laid eyes on her 65 years ago. He would watch her play basketball and would cheer her on religiously. He took card of all of us. He was the rock in our family. We will truly miss him. Until we meet again...
