DAN LESLIE BOWDEN's Obituary
Dan Leslie Bowden, who spent 63 years at Ransom Everglades School as a beloved English teacher, extraordinary mentor and friend to students, colleagues, and parents, died on September 14, 2018, at 89. Ransom Everglades will hold a Celebration of Life at 10:30am on October 15, 2018, at the Lewis Family Auditorium at 3575 Main Highway, Coconut Gove, FL 33133. The entire community is invited. The school will hold a service of remembrance next spring during Alumni Weekend. Mr. Bowden will be buried after a 2:00pm graveside service on September 22, 2018 at Park Hill Cemetery at 4161 Macon Road in Columbus, GA. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made the Dan Leslie Bowden Endowment in the Humanities, 3575 Main Highway, Coconut Grove, FL 33133.
