Dale L. Fidel's Obituary
Dale Leon Fidel, 88, of Miami, FL, went to heaven on July 30, 2022. He was born in
Delta Utah, on August 11, 1933. Dale graduated from the University of Miami in 1955,
receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Botany. He went on to serve his
country as Lieutenant in the United Sates Navy where he trained to be a bombardier
Navigator. Dale then continued is education at the Institute of Foreign Trade in Arizona.
While studying abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico, Dale met the love of his life Maria Teresa
Fidel; they married on June 19, 1961. He and his family lived throughout South America
for several years before settling in Miami, FL. Dale was known by all as a kind and
gentle person with a green thumb. He was fascinated by plants, flowers, and wildlife,
and always passionate about traveling and discovering new cultures. He is preceded in
death by his son Nels Fidel, and survived by his wife Maria Teresa, daughters Erika
Browning and Carla Fidel, and grandchildren Ruby Weiner, Natasha Weiner, Kira
Browning, and Stuart Browning Jr.. A memorial and celebration of Dale’s life will take
place on his birthday, August 11th, at his wife’s home.
