Constance (“Connie”), age 92. Born January 26, 1919, died July 29, 2011. She moved to Miami from Meigs, GA in 1925. She and her twin sister, Corinne “Susie,” were graduates of Miami Senior High and both retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. Predeceased by parents, Olan and Ora, sister, Corinne, and brother, Ralph Nelms. She is survived by her niece, Linda Nelms and family, Darrell and Jonathan Miles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables. The family will receive visitors 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES, 4600 S.W. 8TH ST, with Graveside service at Woodlawn Park North at 10:00am, Thursday, August 4, 2011. A memorial service will be held at Epworth Village at a later date.
