Connie Marie Iwasko

I am so saddened and shocked to learn about Connie's death. She was such a genuine and kind person. She was my daughter's preschool teacher in Dallas. I think of Connie frequently when driving here on beautiful days. Her comment to me when she found out we were moving to Fort Lauderdale still sticks with me, "It's so beautiful there!" And I reply to her in my head "Yes, it is." Prayers to her husband, family and especially her daughters.

It's been a little over 8 months since we lost Connie. Every day I am blessed that I knew her sweet soul and had the time with her that I did. Her mark on me is deep, warm and everlasting. Dear Nick, Ava, Juliana and Muscare family. My heart absolutely aches for you. I am so deeply sorry to hear about the loss of Connie. I felt so sure I would see her soon. However, there were greater plans made beyond our control. She was such a ray of sunshine, and while my time in knowing her was short, her beautiful spirit made such a connection with me. Selfishly, I looked forward to knowing her more, and seeing her more. But I am happy for the brief encounters that I had.
