Christopher Pera's Obituary
Christopher Pera was born February 25, 1993 in Jackson Memorial Hospital to mother Bessy Pera (born in Honduras) and father Silvio Pera (born in Cuba). Chris lived his first 8 years in Hialeah and attended Palm Springs Elementary. Later on, he moved to Cutler Bay where he continued at Whispering Pines Elementary, Cutler Ridge Middle School, and later on graduated from Coral Reef Senior High School in 2012. Chris was the youngest of 3; sister, Genessis Pera, and brother, Silvio Pera. The 3 grew up inseparable, and loved each other unconditionally. Chris lost his step-father Roberto Morales in 2009 due to kidney failure. Roberto helped raise Chris since he was a baby. Chris suffered his loss but overcame it like he did everything else. He was an awesome uncle to 4 beautiful babies; Melody Leeann, Skyleen Princess, Melanie and Xavier King.
Chris was always there to give you advice when you needed it, and was there for you if you just wanted to cry or tell all your problems to. He was the best at keeping secrets, was the perfect best friend you could ever pray for. Chris was very happy, loving, and caring with everyone. He was loved by every single person he met, doesn’t matter who you were. You couldn’t help but fall in love with his big, bright smile.
Christopher’s motto to life was:
“GIVE LIKE YOU HAVE PLENTY.
DANCE LIKE NO ONES WATCHING.
SING LIKE NO ONES LISTENING.
LOVE LIKE YOU’VE NEVER BEEN HURT.
LIVE LIKE IT’S YOUR LAST DAY.”
He was a loving boyfriend, son, brother, uncle and friend. Chris will forever be loved and missed by everyone he crossed paths with.
