Charles J. Bellavia's Obituary
BELLAVIA
Charles, born Nov. 15, 1913, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2010. Charles moved from his hometown of New York City to Miami, FL in 1948. He worked for the Florida Dairy Association as a milkman for 40 years. He served in the Army from 1939 – 1945 as First Sergeant. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and Artillery Award. He served with the 10th Mountain Division in Camp Hale Colorado and Italy. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church for over 50 years. Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Helen, sister Ann O’Donell, sons Charles Jr., Roy, and daughters Jeni Scott (Jay), and Susan Ayares (Dan). Visitation 11 am until Service time 12 noon Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES. Burial with Military Honors 2pm Tuesday at South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lakeworth.
