Charles (Chuck) Walton died on December 30, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He moved to Miami in 1946 and has lived there ever since. He is survived by His wife Lana Swanson. They were inseparable during their 25 year marriage, and throughout his illness, she never left his side. He is survived by his two children, Deborah Saenz (Hernando) and Charles (Chuck) Henry Walton, Jr. He loved his stepchildren as if they were his own - Andrew David Swanson, Carolyn Michelle Swanson and Joanne Elizabeth Swanson. His grandchildren are Keith Walton (Tara), Kari Patrick, Sarah Quintero (Nestor), Nicholas Saenz, Sydney Walton, Lance Walton, Graham Walton, Carter Walton, Blake Highland, Elliot Highland, and his four great grandchildren.
Chuck was loving, kind, accepting and forever helping others, both personally and professionally. He was a home inspector, roofing contractor and owner of a pest control business. He belonged to The Progress Club, FABI, NACHI, FRSA and the Florida Pest Control Association to name a few. He was loved and respected by business colleagues, family and friends. He found joy both in work and play, and anyone who knew him loved him.
Chuck was an amazing baker and cook, and loved to entertain guests in his home barbequing outside by the pool. He was at peace being surrounded by family and friends.
Chuck loved with a full heart and open mind. He will always be in our memories and in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St Jude in his name.
