Charles Bernard Kane III's Obituary
Charles Bernard "Scott" Kane III passed away June 1st after a long illness. Scott was born in Key Biscayne Fl. on January 28th 1955. At 1 year old he moved to Bermuda where his mother and father had taken jobs. He returned to Key Biscayne at 3 years old and was raised there. He graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School and lived his entire life in Miami. Scott spent over 40 years in the grocery business first at Pantry Pride and then at Winn Dixie where he retired in 2017. Scott loved to fish and care for his aquariums. He also had a great love of the ocean. Scott is predeceased by his mother June Louise Kane and brother Dan Schinneller. Scott was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend and is survived by his wife of 28 years Maureen Kane, daughters Melissa Knost and Samantha Kane, son in law Robert Knost and granddaughters Rachel and Mia Knost. Services will be help Saturday June 8th at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel 11220 N. Kendall Drive in Miami.
