Catherine Ann Vernie's Obituary
Vernie, Catherine Ann, 60. Cathy passed away peacefully with her husband at her side at their home. She battled pancreatic cancer 31 months with courage & strength. She was known for her generosity, dignity & her warm heart. She is survived by her husband Frank Vernie, sons David, Kevin, Keith & daughter Kim. They have five grandchildren. Cathy worked for the Turnberry Group and was director of Residential Services. A Gathering of family & friends to celebrate Cathy’s Life will be held at Van Orsdel Kendall Drive Chapel on Saturday May 14, 2011 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Inurnment in Carlton, Michigan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the pancreatic cancer action network at www.pancan.org
