Carol Lynne Gillette's Obituary
GILLETTE CAROL LYNNE 1942 - 2012, Carol Lynne Gillette of Philadelphia, PA, daughter of Phillip and Frances Gillette, passed away in her Miami home on Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 of natural causes. Ms. Gillette, a Miami resident for 40 years, was a former member of the English faculty of Florida International University (recently retired) and the University of Miami. She was a dedicated and popular teacher to a diverse community of students. She devoted her time to the caring and placement of abandoned and injured animals, and was very active in the political arena. She is survived by her sister Barbara Gillette Price and her niece Michelle Cutler, both residents of Spain. A private memorial service will be held in Spain
