CAROL R ZELLER's Obituary
Carol R. Zeller of Miami, Florida passed from this life on January 1st, 2025.
She was 85 years old.
She was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. And, throughout her life was very proud to be thought of as a true Minnesota Girl.
In 1957, she boarded a train, and, ventured to Miami to visit family, and, like so many others, 'got sand in her shoes', and made Miami her home for the rest of her life.
She wholeheartedly embraced the change of climate, her new surroundings, and, became an avid animal lover. She cherished her own pets, and, the abundance of natural wildlife around her.
She is preceded in death, by her parents, Emma Marie Ramsey (nee Grobner), Walter Marcellius Ramsey and her three beloved siblings: Patricia, Wally and Fred.
She is the loving Mother of three surviving children: Colleen, Mark, and Matthew.
She is dearly remembered as "Aunty Carol" to a great many nieces and nephews.
She thoroughly enjoyed being "Gramma Carol" to her six Grandsons: Ashton, Reid, Patrick, Brendon, Ian, and, Bailey. It became a pastime of hers to follow their lives for decades, and, eventually the introduction of her Great-Grandchildren: Lyra, Adelaide, Thomas, Jameson, Josephine, and Eleanor...and she looked forward to the possibility of many more descendants.
She was proudly a loyal employee of the Miami Herald Publishing Company for over 30 years.
