Long-time friend Carol was a Dorian sister at Hope College, Holland, MI in the early 1960s. Christ was her Savior & guide as she began work with Cuban refugees in Miami, worked in Honduras, & returned to Miami to continue working & helping in the Latino community. Carol was a wonderful college roommate and lifelong friend. She was a good listener, risk-taker, devoted Christian, smart, and caring. I traveled the world with her. Our Antarctica trip was the greatest adventure. I will miss her greatly.
My husband loved her also and traveled with us a couple times. That was an adventure for him.
