CARMEN MARIA ESPINOSA's Obituary
Mrs. Carmen Espinosa, longtime resident of Miami, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was ninety-three years old.
Carmen Gomez was born of Spanish immigrants in New York City in November of 1930. “Carmencita,” met the love of her life, Jose Maria Espinosa at a New Year’s Eve party in Long Island. They fell in love, married, and moved to Miami in 1954. The two were inseparable until Jose Sr.’s death in 1976.
Carmen will forever be remembered for her independent spirit, love of life, kindness, generosity, and respect for humankind. Her love of life was infectious, touching all that had the privilege and honor of knowing her.
She is survived by her two children, Joe and Rosemary and her four grandchildren, Jose, Matthew, Joseph, and Gabriela.
A Visitation will be held at Van Orsdel Funeral Service Tuesday, January 9, from 10-11:30 AM.
