Carlton Clayton Bahn Jr.'s Obituary
Carlton C. Bahn, Jr., 89, passed away on July 7, 2021. Carlton was born in Pennsylvania to Leonore and Carlton C. Bahn, Sr. on September 15, 1931.
Carlton worked for Eastern Airlines for 31 years as a lead mechanic. For many years he had his own business, CB Tractor Mowing, mowing vacant acreage all across Dade County. He also proudly worked in Internal Security for the Dade County Youth Fair for forty years.
Carlton loved auto racing and belonged to the Greater Miami Racing Association at Hialeah Speedway for many years, owning and racing cars. He was an active member of the South Florida Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America, where he enjoyed showing off his classic cars.
Late in life, a friend convinced him to try acting in commercials and modeling, at which he was successful, becoming a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; cherished daughters Carla and Lisa (Jack); three exceptional grandchildren, Darryn, Ryan, and Amanda; and his sister Nancy. He also had a place in his heart for a special dog, Duke.
A visitation will take place at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 11AM - 2PM. Donations in his memory may be sent to the Horse Protection Association of Florida at www.hpaf.org.
