CARLOS F COMPTIS's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Francisco Comptis on August 13, 2025, at the age of 69. Carlos was born on July 24, 1956, to his loving parents, Gustavo Felix and Ana Rosa Comptis, in Banes, Oriente, Cuba. He later moved to the United States, living first in Chicago, Illinois, before settling in Miami, Florida, where he spent the remainder of his life. Carlos was the beloved husband of Teresa Comptis and the proud father of Carlito, Jacqueline, and Michelle. He was also a cherished grandfather to Roman, Runa, and Norah. Carlos was a man of immense love and warmth, always putting his family and friends first. His legacy of kindness, humor, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. Carlos will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A visitation will be held 1 pm - 5 pm at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Funeral Chapel, 4600 SW 8th Street, with a prayer service at 3 pm on Sunday August 17th. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 18th at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. May he rest in peace.
