“AMAZING MAN”
Bruce Lloyd Bloomfield
February 8, 1954 – January 18, 2016
Son of Lloyd Pershing Bloomfield and Kewpie Bloomfield Gagnon.
Bruce was survived by his Mother Kewpie Bloomfield Gagnon, Aunt Velma Merril, Aunt Eleanor Carson, Uncle Ray George Phares, Rick, Jadie, David, Steven Carson and Melodie Jackson.
He was predeceased by Aunt Patricia Bulter, Fern Smith Andrew, and Leo Phares.
Bruce Graduated from South Miami High School and went into roofing before getting into the elevator trade in which he loved working. He worked for Otis Elevator Company for over 35 years before retiring on October 19, 2010.
Bruce was an Honorary Membor of the Local Union of Elevator Construction’s # 71 and will be missed by ALL.
Bruce’s hobbies included: Stock car racing at Hialeah Speedway, where he loved driving his #19 stock car. He loved fishing and boating on his boat “F. Troop” with friends and loved ones. Flying to Las Vegas or just gambling at the Hard Rock with friends. You could always find Bruce in front of the television on Sunday, watching his Oakland Raiders along with close friends, and his beloved 4 legged companion “Sneakers.” He loved his dog!
Bruce was a good son to his Beloved Mother and Father who took him from Colorado to Miami at the age of 3 due to their desire to escape the snow. Bruce was always devoted to his family and friends. He will be missed by all. He was full of knowledge and kindness, and always willing to step in and help others.
Bruce lost his battle with illness and will be missed by all.
