BEVERLY MOSELEY ELIAS's Obituary
Beverly Moseley Elias, of South Miami passed away on November 14, 2021.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 31, 1937 to Priscilla and Joseph A. Moseley. She was raised in Miami Beach, Florida where she attended St. Patrick’s School graduating as Valedictorian and then went on to Syracuse University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is survived by her husband Gwynn “Babe” Elias whom she was married to for 55 years. They had two daughters, Christi Elias and Lesli Elias Joseph (Michael); two grandchildren Lauryn and Michael Joseph, Jr.; Beverly had three brothers, Joseph, Bob and George Moseley and many nieces and nephews. She worked in the family business of Moseley’s Linens where she designed the linens and formed Elias Designs and Babe Elias Builders with her husband. They designed and built many homes in Cocoplum, Hammock Oaks, Bay Point, Tahiti Beach and many other locations in South Florida. She loved her family dearly. She will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to any of the following: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or St. Jude Melkite Catholic Church.
There will be a funeral service tomorrow, November 19 at St. Jude Melkite Catholic Church 126 SE 15 Road, Miami, Fl. 33129 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
