Beverly Bera's Obituary
Beverly J. Bera, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, November 4 at home in Miami, Florida, under the care of her family and hospice. She was born on July 14, 1930 in Pearson, a daughter of John and Lima (Culver) Zelinski. She married Leo Bera on August 19, 1950 in Waukegan, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2013.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1947. Beverly worked as a bookkeeper for Red Owl and Fittante's Country Market from 1947 until 2001.
Beverly enjoyed gardening caring for her lawn, feeding and watching the birds. She was devoted to her pets and grand pets. She loved spending time with her whole family and was the glue that bonded them. Bev enjoyed camping and relaxing with family around a campfire, making firewood in the fall and Sunday dinner with her family. For many years she summered in Bull Valley, IL and wintered in Miami. Miami became her primary residence in 2013.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane (Douglas) Huckbody of Woodstock, IL; a son, Tim (Brenda) Bera of Antigo; six grandchildren, Shelly Bera, David Bera, Rebecca (Bryan) Harris, Darek (Lindsey) Huckbody, Aaron (Lillian) Huckbody and Carolynn Runzheimer; fifteen great-grandchildren, Jacob Bera, Courtney (Jacob) Thiel, Morgan Zeinert, Melissa Zeinert, Addison Runzheimer, Rhett Runzheimer, Evren Urak, Lua Huckbody, Hernan Huckbody, Emmett Huckbody, Hank Huckbody, Maggie Huckbody, Natasha Harris, Eli Harris and Kaylee Harris; two Great Great Grandchildren Oliver Thiel and Gerald Thiel.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Gerald Bera; 3 brothers, John Zelinski, Mathew Zelinski and William Zelinski; and a sister, Frances Zelinski
