Betty Lou Raasch's Obituary
Betty L Raasch, 92, originally from Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 13, 2021.
She was born on November 1, 1928 in Miami, Florida and was proud to be a graduate of Miami High School. In 1947 she married the love of her life, Wally Raasch from the rival school Edison High. She worked at Burdines both downtown and Dadeland.
They built a summer house in the mountains in 1972 and retired to the mountains in the late 90’s. She was active in the Snow Hill Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and was in several bridge clubs as well as weekly card games. She enjoyed bowling in the weekly senior league and traveling.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wally Raasch.
She is survived by her children Judy (Richard) Parcell and Woody (Maria) Raasch, 4 grandchildren Stephanie (Jeff) Kingery, Paul (Carolyn) Parcell, Liz (Frank) Cario and Nicolas Raasch and 7 great-grandchildren Damon Kasovan, Rachel Kasovan, Raury Kingery, Ben Parcell, Luke Parcell, Finn Kingery and Emma Parcell.

Graveside services will be held later this year at Woodlawn North in Miami. Van Orsdel, Kendall, is in charge of the arrangements.
