Bertha "Beca" McKeever's Obituary
Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Bertha “Beca” McKeever, age 91, resident of Miami, FL, went to heaven on July 27th, 2020.
Beca was born in Camaguey, Cuba on October 6th, 1928. She married her husband of 70 years, Wilfred McKeever on February 23rd, 1950.
Beca was the most noble, loving and caring mother, grandmother and wife that anyone could aspire to be. Her life, her joy, and her purpose, revolved around her family. She was very much loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She always offered great conversation, a positive outlook, a good laugh and unconditional love. She provided all that visited her home with the most wonderful and loving experience, usually accompanied by a very delicious homemade meal as well. Throughout different stages of her life, her favorite activities included sewing, cooking, and conversations with her cousins. Her most cherished accomplishment was the beautiful and close bond that she shared with her daughter Miriam Llarena, and how she lovingly participated in raising her two beloved grandsons, Juli and Steven. We will always remember her love, her smile, and her beautiful sky-blue eyes.
Beca is survived by her husband, Wilfred McKeever, daughter, Miriam Llarena, son-in-law, Victor Llarena, her grandsons Julian Bonilla (Amelia Bonilla) and Steven Llarena (Danielle Llarena), and her three great-grandchildren, Brianna Llarena, Bradley Bonilla, and Jordan Llarena.
Funeral Arrangements will be held at Van Orsdel on Wednesday, July 29th at 1pm. 11240 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33176.
Followed by Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, at 3pm. 11411 NW 25th St. Doral, FL 33172
