Arthur Evans Ross' Obituary
Arthur Evans Ross, Jr. passed away on November 24, 2023. Arthur was 82 years old born on July 1st, 1941 in Ontario, Canada.
Arthur attended public school, North Bay Collegiate Institute and Vocational School and graduated from Scollard Hall Private School all in North Bay, Canada.
Arthur holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Miami as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from St. Thomas of Villanova University and he is also a licensed Real Estate Broker.
Arthur was the recipient of many awards and honors, including the Reynold’s Aluminum prize for tge Best Design of an Aluminum Product, the Henry Adams Award for Excellence in the Study of Architecture, the Award of Merit in Lighting Design at the Allies Art Competition, as well as several Dade County Awards for Management Improvements.
Arthur retired in 1997 from Miami Dade County after 26 year career as an architect his last position being the Assistant Director of Facilities at the Miami International Airport.
Arthur is survived by his sister Lynne and husband Arnold Lucas, Nephew Ross Lucas (Mizuho), Ross Storey (Erin), and Niece Alana Mancini (Dean), and his great Nieces and Nephews.
