Arminda Medina's Obituary
Arminda (Mindy) De la Caridad Dominguez was born on September 9, 1949 in Guantanamo, Cuba. Born to Parents Armando and Josefa Dominguez. The youngest child of a family of four. She was an energetic girl that loved books, American movies, roller skating, and spending time with family. In 1971 she was granted political asylum to the United States. Her new life began in Waterbury, Connecticut where she resided for 4 years before making Miami her home for next 44. She was a mother of 4, grandmother (Nana) of 5, she was a wife, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. She had a passion for literature, poetry, and art. She was gentle, caring, and generous woman. She loved God with all of her heart. She will be dearly missed.
She was survived by her husband Rodolfo. Her daughters Yazmin, Jamie, Yaritza and Mindy. Her grandchildren Alexander, Joshua, Jeremy, Micheal and Brooklyn. Her brother Miguel and sister Carmen. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, and other family and loved ones.
