Arlene Wardell could always make me smile and feel embraced by her unconditional friendship. Her insight and advice have guided me as a woman, mother and teacher. Arlene had a special twinkle in her eye that told you, "I'm listening. I care." She could make you laugh, but she could also make you think. Her passion for the ideals of sisterhood in our sorority and the spirited discussions she shared were inspiring. Arlene could weave a story so that you wanted to hear every detail. She could lift you up when you needed it most. She was never discouraged by a challenge. She was a lady. She knew how to have a good time. She had spunk. She had true faith. Having her as my 'sister' was a blessing.##imported-begin##Mary Joffre##imported-end##
