ANTONIA ELECTRA CECCIO's Obituary
CECCIO,
Antonia (Tia), 81 years old. Born July 4, 1932 in North Bennington, Vermont, passed away on April 6, 2014, in Miami, Florida. Tia was a devoted mother, wife, friend, and educator. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Ceccio, with whom she raised a family and travelled the world. She is survived by her sons Philip and Steven, her grandchildren Marisa, Michael, Micayla, Sarah, and Nicholas, and many loving family members.
A graduate of the University of Vermont, Tia was an energetic and dedicated teacher of her elementary school pupils. For over 41 years, Tia took great joy in bringing the gift of reading, music, art, and laughter to hundreds of children.
We will remember Tia when we read a humorous poem, listen to a Pavarotti aria, or celebrate a win by the Miami Heat.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Van Orsdel Kendall
