Antoine Plesance Telemaque's Obituary
On Tuesday, February 9th, Antoine Plésance Télémaque passed away after a long struggle with complications of the heart. Antoine was born on January 30, 1936 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he met and married Marie Lissa Durocher (d. 1977). In 1964, they emigrated to Queens, New York. In 1972, they and their two sons moved to the Kendall area of Miami, where he lived the rest of his life.
After more than two decades of working as a Service Technician, Antoine retired from General Electric in 1990.
He is survived by his sisters Ghislaine Télémaque, and Gladys Pilié as well as his sons, Pierre Yves, who now resides in Oklahoma, and Guy Michel, who currently lives in Massachusetts. He was loved by many and will be remembered as a deeply compassionate friend, father and grandfather.
