Annette Marie Caceres' Obituary
Our beautiful and beloved sister Annette Marie Brown Caceres ascended to her heavenly home on August 2, 2025. She was 64 years old. She lived in her condo in Miami, Florida.
Annette was born on October 24, 1960, in Macclenny, Florida. She was predeceased by her mother, “Angel” Barbara Eaton Brown. She is survived by her father, George M. Brown, Jr., her two sisters, Jocelynn Brown Goff (David) and Vanessa Brown Gilliam (David), her cousins Lisa Wishart Chaffin (Lynn), Linda Grim, Victoria DeCastro, Wayne Scharf, Mark Scharf, Steve Eaton (Pam), Bob Eaton (Terry), Judy Akkina (Ramesh), and loved nieces and a nephew. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, Harold Eaton, Sr., Flora Wadhams Eaton, George Millard Brown, Sr., Selma Maria McKinney Brown, aunts Nora Brown Scharf (Les), Maxine Brown Wishart (Jack), uncles James W. She enjoyed worshiping with her cousin and family, as well as many friends, at Sunset Church of Christ, where she was a member. She was also a member of the Coral Gables DAR chapter. She retired from the post office as a mail carrier after more than 30 years of faithful service. She was loved by everyone on her route (with the exception of a few dogs ;). She grew up in Hialeah, Florida, graduated from Atlantic Christian School, received her AA from Miami-Dade Community College, and attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Annette was very loyal to her family and loved them deeply. She loved giving gifts, hugs, and kisses to her family and friends. She also loved caring for her cats. The family wishes to acknowledge the many kindnesses shared with Annette by family, church family, friends, and neighbors. A private family memorial is planned in Searcy, Arkansas, at a later date.
