Anne-Marie Pascual's Obituary
Anne-Marie Pascual Cayere passed away at the age of 72 on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was a devoted sister, mother and grandmother, a faithful Catholic, and a loyal friend—deeply loved by all who knew her.
Anne-Marie was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to her parents, Juan Fernando “Nandy” Pascual and Anna Cayere Pascual. She was the youngest of six siblings, all of whom cherished her dearly. She attended the Sacred Heart School in Puerto Rico and later earned her bachelor’s degree.
Anne-Marie was a loving and dedicated mother to her sons. She was the kind of mother every child hopes for. She never gave up, always encouraged her children to do what was right, and constantly sought unity within the family. She was always present, always available, and guided her children in the ways of the Lord—teaching them the importance of prayer, faith, and living a life rooted in truth.
Her greatest vocation was as a mother, raising her children with love, strength, and faith. Later in life, she became a successful realtor, earning numerous awards and accolades through her dedication and work ethic.
Anne-Marie had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She lived a life marked by virtue—especially charity, perseverance, humility, and generosity. Her acts of love and service were most visible within her family, caring deeply for her sons, her daughters-in-law, Eleane and Yoselyn, her grandchildren, and her siblings. She also had a love for travel, photography, and horses, and cherished looking at photos of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother, Michel; her sons, Renato Julian and Gian Carlo Alonso; daughters-in-law, Eleane and Yoselyn; and her four beloved grandchildren—Isabella Grace, Amelia Faith, Zelie-Marie, and Alexander Louis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Fernando Pascual and Anna Cayere Pascual, and her brothers Luis, Reinaldo, Tommy, and Enrique.
We commend her soul to the mercy of God and trust in the promise of eternal life.
“Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided…”
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4“
