Anne Mae Corrigan's Obituary
Long time Coral Gables resident Anna Mae Corrigan passed away on September 26th at South Miami Hospital. Born on January 23, 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia, her family moved to FLorida in 1936 where she attended Coral Gables Elementary School and Ponce de Leon High School (Class of 1944). After graduating from Stephens College in Columbia, MO, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Miami (Class of 1948).
She is survived by George M. Corrigan, her husband of 25 years and three daughters: Leslye Wilson Burson (Spartanburg, South Carolina), Dawn F. Wilson (Pinecrest, Florida), and E. Martina David (Palmetto Bay, Florida) and step-daughter Susan A. Corrigan (Coral Gables, Florida), four grandchildren: Taylor D. David (Palmetto Bay, Florida), Christina M. Bragg (Huntsville, Alabama), Kevin L. Burson (Birmingham, Alabama) and four great-grand-children: Ann Hollis Burson, and Harris C. Burson (Birmingham, Alabama) Callie C. Bragg, and Adams V. Bragg (Huntsville, Alabama).
She was member of the Country Club of Coral Gables, Riviera Country Club, Camarilla Club and Beach Colony Club.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. The First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables 536 Coral Way.
