ANNA MAE WALSH's Obituary
Walsh, Anna Mae
January 10, 1923 – June 9, 2021
Anna Mae Walsh, mother, grandmother,
sister and friend left this world in God’s care on
June 9, 2021.
Anna Mae was born in Bark River,
Michigan, and spent her youth in Michigan’s
Upper Peninsula. She later spent time in
Riverside, California where she met her first
husband Leo F. Walsh., a PGA professional.
After moving to Miami, Florida in 1950, Anna
Mae and Leo raised their beloved daughter
Marianne Walsh Elmore. Leo has since
preceded Anna Mae in death.
Anna Mae worked in Miami-Dade
County Circuit Court as a secretary as well as a
court clerk.
Remarried in 1991, Anna Mae is also
predeceased by her second husband, a kind and
wonderful man, Alphonse P. Baldus.
She is survived by her daughter and best
friend, Marianne Walsh Elmore, grandson, Sean
Michael Elmore and son-in-law, Steve Elmore.
“Annie”, as she was fondly referred to
by family, was devoted and generous to her
loved ones especially her beloved grandson,
Sean. Anna Mae was also generous to many
charitable causes especially for the homeless.
She had a very tender heart and was troubled by
injustice.
Her sense of humor and fun-loving
personality will never be forgotten. Dancing and
golf were such an important part of her life and
having to give them up in the past years was
very difficult. She will live forever in our hearts
and her life will serve as an inspiration to give
help to others less fortunate.
Services held privately.
