My dearest Mother,
Selfishly I wanted you to stay. The emptiness and silence is painfully loud today. I'm missing you so much but know you are finally free of the pain that you endured. You were so strong and brave. I pray I can be half the woman you were if I am faced with all you had to deal with.
You rest in God's arms and we will all be together again and until that day comes,
there are no goodbyes for us my sweet Mommy. I will carry you in my heart, every moment of every day and I'll sing you a lullaby to comfort you just like you comforted me so many times the past 63 years......
I’ll be seeing you
in all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
all day through
In that small cafe
The park across the way
The children's carousel
The chestnut trees
The wishing well
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you
I love you forever...
Thank you for being an amazing Mother and more importantly, my friend.
Martina
