M. Angela (Connie) Dion
Long time resident of Coral Gables, Angela Dion passed away May 23, 2010 in Millbrae, Ca. She was a native of Cumberland, Maryland. "Connie" to her friends, is reunited with her husband, Louis, and 3 brothers. Devoted mother to Mary Ann (Samir), Shirley and Kathy (Randy). Dedicated "Grandma B" to her 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Connie was an active member of St. Theresa’s Little Flower Parish and the Daughters of Isabella, among other Catholic philanthropic organizations. When her youngest daughter was in college, Connie became a secretary for a Mental Health organization and remained with them for many years. After she and her husband retired, they traveled extensively. Louis passed away a few weeks after their 55th wedding anniversary and Connie spent time with friends, church groups, bowling and bridge. She moved to California a few years ago to be closer to family. A special thanks to all her caregivers at The Magnolia and Hospice who cared for her with kindness and love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Sutter VNA & Hospice 700 South Claremont Street, San Mateo, and CA 94402-1448. Funeral Mass at Church of the Little Flower, Friday, June 4, at 10 am.
