ANA MARTINEZ BAJOS's Obituary
Ana Bajos Martínez de Castro, 89, falleció el 23 de diciembre de 2016 en Miami, Florida. Nació en La Habana, Cuba, el 5 de enero de 1927 y emigró en 1960 a Puerto Rico junto a su esposo, Orlando Bajos Blanco y sus cuatro hijos: Anita Bajos de Alfonso, Elena Bajos de Jakubowicz, Adriana Bajos de Gluski y Orlando Luis Bajos y su prioridad siempre fue la familia. Ana ejerció también como bibliotecaria en la Academia San José. Vivió en Miami durante los últimos 34 años donde estableció nuevos lazos de amistad. Ella estuvo profundamente orgullosa y feliz por la oportunidad de compartir con sus ocho nietos: Cándido y Annette Alfonso Bajos, Jasmine Love y Rina Jakubowicz Bajos, Ricky y Alejandro Gluski Bajos, Krizia y Stefano Bajos Camejo y cinco bisnietos. Ana Bajos ha dejado un legado de unión y amor familiar.

El velorio tendrá lugar en la Funeraria Van Orsdel, 4600 S.W. 8th Street, Miami, FL, el martes, 27 de diciembre de 2016 a las 5:00 – 7:00 PM. En lugar de flores se agradecerían oraciones y/o donaciones a https://english.alfalit.org , organización en la que ella participó como voluntaria alfabetizando a los menos afortunados.
Ana Bajos Martinez de Castro, 89, passed away on December 23, 2016 in Miami, Florida. She was born in Havana, Cuba on January 5, 1927 and emigrated on 1960 to Puerto Rico along with her husband, Orlando Bajos and their four children: Anita, Elena, Adriana and Orlando Luis. Ana’s priority was always her children and family, and she worked as a librarian at the Academia San Jose. She lived in Miami for the last 34 years where she made many new friendships. Ana was very proud of her eight grandchildren and grateful for the time they spent together: Candido and Annette Alfonso, Jasmine Love and Rina Jakubowicz, Ricky and Alejandro Gluski, Krizia y Stefano Bajos and five great-grandchildren. Ana has left a legacy of union and family love.
The funeral will take place in the Van Orsdel Funeral, 4600 S.W. 8th Street, Miami, FL, on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers we appreciate prayers and/or donations to https://english.alfalit.org, an organization where she volunteered helping others less fortunate.
