Amparo Del Toro's Obituary
Del Toro, Amparo (Pat) Velazquez 96, born on March 14th, 1925 in Yauco, Puerto Rico, raised in the Bronx, NY and a long time Miami resident passed away on July 1st, 2021.
Predeceased by her husband William and her son Marcus. Survived by her 2 sons Robert and his wife, Rachel; William, her grandchildren: Alexandra, Brian, Priscilla, Eduardo, Melissa, Gabriela and her great-grandchildren: Cassandra, Charlotte, Jameson, Isabella and Adrianna.
Pat was a member of the Archdiocese Council of Catholic Women for 50 years. She was also a member of St. Brendan and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She was a dedicated volunteer to the Catholic Church as well as to many other organizations such as the Elks Lodge 948 and the Italian Isola Salina Lodge 276.
Viewing and services will be held at Van Orsdel, 11220 SW Kendall Drive, Saturday, July 10th from 9 am to 1 pm. Interment to follow at Miami Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77th Avenue at 1:30 pm.
