Alejandro Gonzalez's Obituary
GONZALEZ
Alejandro Gonzalez, 60 of Coral Gables Florida, passed away on August 19th 2011. He was a loving father, son and husband. He was survived by his wife, Lizette Sigler Gonzalez of 36 years, and his children Erik Alexander Gonzalez and Jessica Janine Gonzalez, and son of Alejandro and Palmira Gonzalez.
Alejandro was born on July 6th 1951 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. He attended Miami high and graduated in 1975. He received Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
Alejandro was an avid member of the Miami Police Department, retiring in 2007 as a Lieutenant. His many roles as a police officer in the Special Investigations Unit were Vice, Narcotics, burglary, bomb squad, anti-terrorism, dignitary protection of Mother Teresa and Princess of Monaco.
Alejandro was a loving father, friend and son who love being surrounded by his family and friends.
Visitation 4 – 10 pm Sunday at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES. Funeral Mass 10 am Monday at the Church of the Little Flower.
