Alejandrina Arocha's Obituary
Alejandrina Arocha, 93 years old, formally of Miami Florida went to heaven on May 16, 2022. She was born on July 1, 1928, in Artemisa, Cuba. She married her soulmate and love of her life, Reinaldo Arocha in 1953. In 1955, she gave birth to her son, Ramon. A couple years later, they emigrated to Miami, FL in pursuit of the American dream. In 1963, she gave birth to her second son, Jorge Tomas. Through hard work and dedication in fields such as manufacturing and housekeeping, they were able to save up and fulfill their dream of property and restaurant ownership in Chicago, Illinois. Owning their home and operating the Rancho Luna and Floridita Restaurants was a dream come true! They raised their sons in Chicago and provided a loving home with a Catholic upbringing. In 1983, they returned to Miami, Florida to enjoy their retirement years. During this time, she was able to enrich many lives by providing childcare to her grandchildren, as well as other children in her community. The love she shared is acknowledged by numerous adults to this very day. Alejandrina was a skilled homemaker and had a passion for gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reinaldo Arocha. She is survived by her sons, Ramon, and Jorge. Grandchildren: Tammy, Anne, Cameron, Melissa, JT, Brandy, Alex, Brock, and Ramon. Great-grandchildren: Frankie, Ariana, Samantha, Jacob, Armando Jr, and Andrew.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 25th during the hours of 6:00 PM-10:00 PM at:
